Last Updated: April 2, 2026

Welcome to Abide Psychiatry. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at www.abidepsychiatry.com (the "Site"), operated by Abide Psychiatry, PLLC ("we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use this Site.

1. No Medical Advice and No Doctor-Patient Relationship The content provided on this Site—including text, graphics, images, blogs, and external links—is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Your use of this Site or your submission of an inquiry through our contact forms does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and Dr. Thanupakorn or Abide Psychiatry, PLLC. A doctor-patient relationship is only established after you have completed a formal intake process, signed our medical consent forms, and attended an initial evaluation. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on this Site.

2. No Emergency Services This Site and our general email/contact forms are not monitored 24/7 and are not equipped to handle medical or psychiatric emergencies. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, an acute mental health crisis, or are having thoughts of harming yourself or others, do not use this Site to contact us. Immediately call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or dial 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

3. Privacy and Communications Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. While the forms embedded on our website are hosted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant environment, standard internet email is not a completely secure method of communication. Please do not use standard email to communicate sensitive medical information, acute psychiatric symptoms, or emergencies. Current patients should always use the separate Secure Patient Portal for clinical communication.

4. User Conduct and Prohibited Uses When using our Site, you agree to do so only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations.
- Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Site.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the Site, the server on which the Site is stored, or any secure patient portals linked from the Site.
-Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful digital material.

5. Intellectual Property Rights All content on this Site, including the Abide Psychiatry name, logos, text, graphics, and website design, is the property of Abide Psychiatry, PLLC, or its content suppliers, and is protected by United States copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any of our material without our express written consent.

6. Third-Party Links Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Abide Psychiatry, PLLC (such as secure patient portals, payment processors, or educational resources). We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. You acknowledge and agree that Abide Psychiatry, PLLC shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of any such third-party content or services.

7. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Abide Psychiatry, PLLC, and its practitioners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to, use of, or inability to use this Site, or any errors or omissions in the Site's content.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms and any dispute arising out of your use of the Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding related to this Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina.

9. Changes to These Terms We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
